KTM Ministry
We are so excited about the “New” children’s church!!!!!!! Not only are we excited about having a nice, new, big room, but we are so excited about all the changes that are taking place. We now have a committee/ board, made up of about 10 people who will be leading and worshipping with the children during children’s church. And may we also take this time now to introduce you to the name of our children’s ministry:
Chillicothe First Assembly of God K. T. M, Children’s youth group (Kids to the Master)!
K. T. M’s mission statement is to provide a place of worship for the kids to be able to learn and grow into a true and closer relationship with Christ. If you could only know just how excited we are about what God is doing and is going to do through Children’s church!!! Every three months or so, we will be focusing on a theme and decorating on that theme. So, our room will never be the same. We put all our prayers, time and thoughts into making the kid’s place of worship an exciting and loving place to want to come back. Believing God they will worship, learn and grow in the Lord again and again. This session’s theme is called “Extreme Dayz”. As in extreme sports, there are many obstacles and challenges in their daily life kids today must face. Our curriculum is all about teaching the kids to fully accept, trust, and rely on God, even during great challenges. Through ‘extreme change’ they will learn one small step plus one small decision equals a big change, which focuses on giving up attitude, bad habits, and how to truly live for him. Finally, through “extreme dedication” they will learn what it means to fully give God your all and follow him and to step out and witness, be an example of Christ and to lead others to Christ.
We have exciting characters that will be joining our class room through out our sessions. This week’s famous sport guest is “Mo Hawk”. We will be having other sport men and women who will be popping in and out. "Jo Flip" is our puppet and you have already met "Hot Lips" the ape, and "Ima Chicken."
As we have already stated, we are so excited! So don’t be surprised when you see just how far out we are going as we bring these kids into true worship with God. You will discover this as you see some of the leaders with colored hair and furry costumes. We’re all about Jesus! We welcome you all to come in and peep in on our service anytime, you are welcome.
