TITHE

A tithe is the practice of giving 10% of your income back to God. As Deuteronomy 14:22-23 directs, “You must set aside a tithe of your crops—one-tenth of all the crops you harvest each year. Bring this tithe to the designated place of worship...”

While Chillicothe First uses these funds to support our church's daily operations, we believe in leading by example. First and foremost, CFA tithes on the resources we receive, directing 10% toward local and global missions. Through our home-grown missionaries and Global Partnerships, we are proud to fulfill the Great Commission across the globe.

OFFERING

Before His ascension, Jesus commissioned His disciples, saying, “Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you.” (Matthew 28:19-20, NLT) Choosing to give above and beyond the tithe is a powerful act of generosity. When you designate these offerings to the Kingdom Builder fund, you invest directly in ministries, organizations, and projects doing strategic work for those who need it most—reaching the lost, serving the poor, and changing the world.
